Terms of Service

1. This agreement

Slidefy ("we", "us") is an independently operated product, run from India. These terms apply whenever you use slidefy.net or any part of the service. By creating an account you accept them.

Subscriptions are sold and invoiced by our payment provider, Dodo Payments, as merchant of record. Your receipt comes from them. For anything else, including anything in these terms, contact us at slidefysupport@gmail.com — that mailbox is the way to reach us.

If you are using Slidefy on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that company.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

2. What the service does

Slidefy generates social media carousels. You supply a topic, a link, or your own notes; we send that, along with your brand details, to a third-party AI model, and combine what comes back with a design theme to produce slides you can edit and export as PNG or PDF.

Themes control the look. The AI writes the words. It does not write or alter design code.

AI output is generated automatically and is not reviewed by a human before you see it. It can be wrong, generic, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reading and editing anything before you publish it.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google or with a one-time code emailed to you. There is no password to lose, but you must keep access to that email account secure — anyone who can read your inbox can sign in as you.

You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it.

One account is for one person. You may create multiple brand kits inside it, subject to your plan's limits.

4. Plans, credits and payment

Slidefy has a free plan and two paid plans, Starter and Pro. Current prices and limits are shown on the pricing section of our homepage and inside your account settings; those pages are the authoritative version, because they are generated from the same limits the software enforces.

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who act as merchant of record — they take the payment, handle sales tax and issue your receipt.

• Each plan includes a monthly allowance of carousels and AI credits.
• Generating a carousel costs one carousel from your allowance. Asking AI to redo or rewrite something costs credits.
• Unused credits roll over on paid plans. Allowances reset on your billing date.
• You can change plan at any time from your account settings. Changing plan adjusts your existing subscription rather than creating a second one.

We may change prices. If we do, we will tell you by email before the change affects you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal — your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then drops to the free plan.

We do not delete your carousels when a subscription ends. They stay in your account under the free plan's limits.

6. Your content stays yours

You keep all rights to the material you put into Slidefy — your brand details, your notes, the images you upload — and to the carousels you produce with it.

You grant us only the permission we need to run the service for you: to store your content, to send it to the AI provider that generates your carousel, and to render and export your slides. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not publish or sell it.

You are responsible for having the rights to whatever you upload. Do not upload images, logos or text you are not allowed to use.

7. AI-generated output

As between you and us, the carousels you generate are yours to use commercially, including on your own social accounts and in paid promotion.

Two honest limits on that, both inherent to how generative AI works:

• We cannot promise output is unique. Another user giving a similar prompt may receive similar text.
• We cannot promise output is accurate, original, or free of someone else's rights. Check anything factual, and check anything you intend to use as a claim about your product.

Stock photographs offered inside the editor come from Pexels and Pixabay and are used under their own licences. Themes and their design assets are licensed to you for use in carousels you make with Slidefy — you may not extract, resell or redistribute them on their own.

8. Acceptable use

Do not use Slidefy to produce or distribute:

• content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that incites violence or hatred;
• content that impersonates a real person or organisation, or that misrepresents its origin;
• sexual content involving minors, or any other material that is illegal to possess or share;
• content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy;
• spam, or deceptive claims about a product or service.

Also do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service, resell access to it, or use automated means to extract our themes or other users' data.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules. Where the breach is not serious we will normally warn you first.

9. Availability

We work to keep Slidefy running, but we do not offer a guaranteed uptime level. The service may be unavailable during maintenance, or because of a failure at one of the providers we depend on.

Features can change. We may add, alter or withdraw parts of the service. If we withdraw something you are actively paying for, we will give you notice and, where it is fair to do so, a refund of the unused part of your term.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, the service is provided as-is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits or revenue, for lost or corrupted data beyond our reasonable control, or for loss arising from your use of AI-generated output.

Our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period.

11. Ending this agreement

You can stop using Slidefy at any time. To have your account and its data deleted, email slidefysupport@gmail.com — see the Privacy Policy for what deletion covers and how long it takes.

We may close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we stop offering the service. If we close the service entirely, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your work.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Slidefy after that means you accept the updated terms.

The date at the top of this page is when it was last changed.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of India, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except that if you are a consumer, you keep any right you have to bring proceedings in your own country.
